Nothing to do today.

Today

Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tonight
Snow, wind gusts as high as 43 mph.
New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Maybe I'll take a drive north to Hurley, visit a friend, take him out to dinner. Maybe drive over and watch those 30' waves on Lake Superior.
Today
Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Tonight
Snow, heavy at times. Areas of dense freezing fog before 10pm. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Snow accumulation of 11 to 17 inches possible.

On second thought, maybe I'll stay home and clean the bathroom.

The freezing fog last night early this AM was a nice touch. I drove the 4 miles to town to get some groceries. 4 wheel drive newer tires and I didn't go faster than 20 mph. We are getting smaller flakes with 20-25 mph sustained wind. The 20 mile drive to the freeway tomorrow morning is going to be a treat with the wind and the open fields. 10" of snow.

Yeah but....

No panhandlers, drug addicts, or grifters to deal with when you stop for a coffee. ;)
And no homeless ( I mean un-housed ) camped out in front of work to navigate through.

I'll deal with the snow any day.

I can drive into town and pump gas then walk into the store and pay for it.

29 degrees and raining here … that is about as miserable as it gets.

Gee, we had 58F here in NJ. I was able to paint my boat's controls, with some help from a space heater in the garage. A good step toward spring fit-out, although a bit early.
