JJ McCarthy in the confusion protocol... Coach did not say he has a concussion. Watch Max will get a start and do well.

Yup, Max is starting, I hope he does great! Just like when JJ was "hurt" the last time. Not sure why KOC can't just say, I'm benching JJ....

Not sure I would lay it all on Tomlins shoulders. You can only operate with the players the GM gives you. Omar Khan seems to be more of the problem. Just the Pickens thing alone is bad enough, and the QB debacle that’s been going on for what seems like forever. They need someone that can recognize young talent, acquire, and retain them. Pittsburgh has the lowest payroll in the league. Maybe that needs to change.
Just my two cents.

Good for him. Better man than Lame Kitten.

Yes, good for he and his agent, Jimmy Sexton, who seems to be the agent for all the top coaches and is mad at Pat Kraft for not extending Franklin's contract over the summer and has been using the PSU coaching situation for the benefit of "his" coaches and the detriment of PSU.

I am going to lay a lot of the blame on Tomlin. It seems that Rodgers was Tomlin's guy and choice. Rodgers seems to be a detriment to the locker room and his age does not allow him to recover from one week to the next ... his play drop as the weeks go on is eerily similar to Russell Wilson's issues with the Steelers. And Rodgers does nothing wrong, according to Rodgers. It is always the line or the receivers or ... But that is who Tomlin wanted.

That would be false as Jimmy Sexton is not Kalani Sitake's agent.

Kiffin is. Chesney is. Cignetti is. DeBoer is. Sarkisian is. Franklin is. Saban is. Smart is. Norvell is. Lanning is. Sweeney is. Muschamp, Nutt, Tubberville, Chizik, Gundy, Spurrier, Freeze, Fisher, Malzahn, Beamer, Cutcliffe, Rodriquez, Petrino, Dooley, Steele, Butch Davis, Coker, and Fulmer all are.

And although Sexton is not listed as Sitake's agent, it has been reported by a couple different outlets that Sexton had a hand in McGowan, the CEO and founder of Crumbl Cookies (who is not Mormon or has any affiliation to BYU), paying the money to keep Sitake at BYU.

According to Essentially Sports:
Allegedly, Sexton didn’t like the way Penn State handled Franklin’s firing after starting 3–3 this season. Despite Franklin stacking up 9–10 win seasons for almost a decade, Penn State pulled the trigger, and that apparently didn’t sit well with Sexton. So now Todd McShay believes he’s making life extremely difficult for Pat Kraft. Every time Penn State gets close to hiring a big-time coach, Sexton swoops in, raises the price, pushes extensions, or nudges that coach toward another program.

For example, we’ve actually seen this play out in real time with a couple of coaches Penn State was eyeing. Eli Drinkwitz was a solid name for Penn State. But then, right around Thanksgiving, he suddenly signed a massive new six-year, $64 million contract extension to stay put in Columbia. Same scene with Vanderbilt’s Lea Clark.

But Sitake isn't.

Chesney isn't
Cignetti isnt
Dooley isn't
Steele isn't
Butch Davis isn't
Coke isn't
Fullmer isn't

And I am not to worried about a few of those ever coaching again.
