Hello! Last year I purchased my brothers Mod V Jon boat with a 35 hp Johnson. We went to take it out and shortly after getting it in the water we went to open it up. After a couple mins the motor ended up cutting power and when trying to accelerate again, it almost sounded like a car engine bouncing off the rev limiter. It would accelerate to a fast ‘no wake’ speed I guess you could say but it seems like once the motor gets warm, then it does this. I asked my brother about it and he said he was unsure but he thought it had something to do with electrical. I think fuel lines were all replaced fairly recently so I don’t think that is the issue, any ideas? Thank you!!
