1996 Mercruiser MCM 5.7 LX EFI out drive Bravo 2.
Manual says to lube gimble bearing zerk fitting using Quicksilver U-joint and gimble bearing grease. My question is, can I purchase a substitute grease at an auto parts store. Thank you for your time.

Am I in the ball park? Could there be a special socket for these bolts?
