    Older Johnson Ignition switch wiring

    Having difficulties in wiring a new ignition switch. My wires are as follows: 2 purples, 1 red/purple, 2 black, 1 white and 1 black/yellow. The switch has the lettering: A, M (raised), B, M, S and C. Can anyone please tell me where these match up? This is a 1973, 65hp, 3 cylinder.

    uneven ride

    I recently purchased a used 17 ft. rinker OB with a 117 HP Johnson. The prop was bent. Put an undersized prop on to see if the boat would run. Beside the expected vibrating caused by the prop, the boat is leaning heavily towards the right. Any ideas on what may be causing that?

    blowing ignition fuse

    I have a 92 Johnson, 40HP on a 20 foot JC Pontoon. I am trying to determine what is causing the ignition fuse to blow immediately upon backing it into the water. I checked as many electrical lines as I could find, below and above the deck. Any ideas?
