got some pics of the motor on the boat... I've been told I have a fixed part that bolts to the boat and a power trim section that is connected to the motor.

ok so there you have it... I payed 1400 for my supercharger and traded for everything u see here. trailer, boat and motor... just needs wiring done and I just finished cleaning the carbs and she's 35mph flat out.

now I'm looking at online pics and some pics of other members boats claiming the 1989 1700 xr title on here but my boat looks NOTHING like these other boats.

well I went and got a 24L fuel tank and swapped my fuel hose over to it. mixed at a 50:1 ratio and hit the electric choke.
after 3 quick tries with the key she fired up to life. hmm... seems to be running abit smoother.
lower the high idle lever and no signs of stalling out... alright time to...
Ok so aside from my motor firing up without too much issue I need to tackle the issue of wiring in my boat.
can someone please point me in a direction of a writeup or some basic knowledge in what should be done concerning the wiring.

The motor goes like this...
lift for cold start bar, check
neutral check
flick a switch under the key and I'm assuming its an electric choke.
she fires right up... high idles till you drop the lever.
forward and reverse have a small amount of power but...
I've got an older seahorse 135hp outboard. the motor has no ability to tilt unless you lift it by hand.
what are you supposed to do when your operating the boat?
is there a manual system availible or are you just supposed to bolt it into place at whatever angle is best for the boats performance...
