    1994 140 v4 johnson cylinder location

    I've got a 94 v4 140 johnson. Looking at the engine from the rear, can someone tell me the cylinder locations. You've got two plugs on the left and two on the right so I'm trying to find out which is 1,2,3,4. Once again, I'm standing at rear of the engine looking towards front of the boat. Thanks

    94 140 evinrude not accelerating

    I recently purchased a 2003 boat with a 115 johnson but the engine was shot so I put a 94 140 evinrude on that hull which everything seemed to match perfect. The 140 had previously spent 24 hours under water due to submerged stumps but after we retrieved it , put it on a stand, pulled plugs...
