I have a 130hp Johnson model # J130TLEDM below that it says 95.
But when I Google this number it gives me info for a 96.
Now my certified Johnson dealer here in town told me they changed the control connections in 1996.
And controls made before 96 will not work with 96 or later models.
Help Please
I have a 1995 130hp Johnson with a blown powerhead.
I have a neighbor with a boat that has a 1993 150hp Evinrude he will sell for $2500.
The shaft lengths are both 20in.
Will my controls work with this motor?
If so, what other problems will I encounter with this swap?
