Help! I've got a 1990 17' VIP w 165hp 2.5L 4cyl. Last summer the motor started making a pinging noise when under a load such as pulling a skier or accelerating with a boat full of people. Got steadily worse this summer so I replaced points, condenser, plugs and plug wires, and cap... no luck...
