    Any idea what the problems could be? I guessed he probably has a problem. Just trying to get some ideas before the weekend when I can see it and he gets the prop off.

    So, from the video that I’ve seen (which I can’t upload for some reason), the nut is tight, but when holding one of the blades, there is movement. Not the slight in outplay that I also understand to be normal. It’s definitely too much play in the wrong direction.

    Morning Mercruiser guru’s. A question for a friend. He has noticed his pro is loose on the shaft. Tightened up, but there is a bit of movement, too much. Do the flo torque hubs wear out and can cause this? He’s not removed the prop yet, that will be done at the weekend so will hopefully show...

    AD41 loss of power to instrument panel

    Hi all. I’ve a Volvo Penta AD41 linked to 290 DP. Today I turned ignition on so that I could trim up drive leg, as I pressed trim button I lost all power to the instrument panel. The other engine, trim and all other power to the dash remains. Could anyone advise on where to look please?

    Hey all. Does anyone know if there is a non marinaded version of the AD41, ie is the block used anywhere else that anyone knows of under a different name/title? I know that many petrol engines are just marinised versions of common motors but can’t find anything anywhere for the AD.

    Thanks alldodge. Yes correct engine with the exception that it now has an electronic fuel pump. Tank of gas is an interesting question. On way out when happened quickly, it was about 2/3 full, on way back when it ran perfect for about 40 mins it was full when leaving. I’ve checked the fuel...

    Thanks for the replies. I had another look around today, and noticed what looks to be a fuel leak from the carb / manifold gasket, same both sides, could this be a possible cause, I’m guessing if it is leaking fuel out then it will be getting starved of fuel under load?

    I have a slight leak of water in through the top of the drive. Hopefully there is a picture attached, could anyone share any advice on what to do about it? It is very slight, literally just getting damp when the engine is running. No leak when not running. thanks
