    Need Help Identifying an OMC Lower Unit

    Hi, I was hoping someone could help me identify this OMC lower unit. I cannot a part number or casting number on it anywhere. I know its a good unit because my dad took it off the outboard to put a jet drive on it, but I just can't recall what HP or year the motor was. It is a dark gunmetal gray.

    Chevy 283 w Mallory distributor question.

    OK, kind of a silly question but I am a little bit stumped. I have an old chevy marine engine that is a 283. I think it is either a Chris Craft or old OMC, not sure. Anyhow, it has a Mallory YD distributor in it that I cannot figure out how it comes out. It does not have a distributor hold...

    Need help determining year of 8 HP Honda.

    Does any one know the model year of an 8 HP Honda outboard with model: BF8A, and serial number: BACL-1210131. It seems like it is really hard to figure out what year this is.

    Does anyone know how to find the year of an old Clinton outboard?

    I have an old Clinton outboard that I am trying to find out the year. The tag is a little tough to read but as far as I can tell it says; Model: J9 1101, and Serial: 114271. If any one knows the year, or year range that would help. Thanks

    Need help Id'ying older Evinrude

    I picked up an Evinrude outboard that I thought was a 25 HP but I would like to confirm the HP and Year. Here is the SN: 25022-18690. Does any one know for sure what this is? I put a photo of the hood if it helps.
