Hi guys just got my new minn kota maxxum trolling motor today and put it on the boat but not sure if I can run it off the same wiring that I used for my old motor which was a 12v (the new one is 24v) without damaging the motor or batteries ....the wires say 10awg and there's about 18ft of wire...
just bought a new boat with a merc 40 four stroke jet went out on the river it fired right up and took off but after a feww hundred yards up the river it bogged out and when i tried tostart it back up it would run for a few seconds and shut back off ..im thinking it was bad fuel from last year...
