my 1985 johnson seems to be weak in reverse. it gets off the trailer ok and runs out forward strong. has fresh gear lube. i unhooked the shift linkage to make sure it engages fully and it does.my question is does the thrust washers and thrust bearings work like a clutch? are there any...
