i have a 1996 force sugar sand mirage and where the control cable and steering cable comes into the boat water comes in and want to know if i should put some type of silicone or is there some type of plug that is water tight. is any water suppose to enter the boat.
Its a mercury marine 120xr it wont stay running it just smokes and cuts off I have it in nuetral what could be wrong. if i give it throttle it will run longer but then smoke more and when i let go it cuts off
