    1995 Evinrude 40 HP No Reverse

    Recently had lower unit rebuilt. Runs good but no reverse. Prop spins. Possibly the shift cables? How do I adjust them correctly may have got tweaked by my helper. I have no Manual so no one to blame but myself. Any help would be appreciated!

    1995 Evinrude 40hp lower unit trouble

    Attempting to take apart lower unit on 1995 Evinrude 40hp something won't let it release. It appears to be the shift rod. Any advice would be appreciated.
