I have 1997 a 30hp Merc Jet Prop on a 16 ft Bassboat. It has been sitting idle for several years until I picked her up. Gave it a quick tune up - plugs, new oil, fuel filter.... I put the key in and turn to on and a constant beep, beep, beep, beep..... happens. I did not even try to start it...
