I am. Which is why I ran it both in lake and on hose. Everything is getting water when I remove the thermostat, when it is in, the exhaust manifolds are not getting water. I can hear them begin to boil water, thus when I pull the hose that supplies them water, the steam.
So why am I not getting flow to the exhaust manifolds when the thermostat opens. I pulled the cap off after running it, and the thermostat was wide open. But I had steam come out the exhaust manifold hole before I took the cap off.
I replaced my engine with an ATK rebuilt and a new SEI106 Lower unit.

Honestly when I bought the boat, it had a new T stat setup in it. Based on the Serial number of the engine, I can never find anything about the engine on any parts sites. The boat is a 1987 so I buy parts for it based on that year range. The serial sticker says: A612838
