Low hour 1996, Mercury - 9.9, 2 cycle.
100:1 fuel/oil ratio.
Good water flow through cooling system.
Starts instantly & idles smoothly.
Put boat in the water & began cruising @ 1/2 throttle for about 5 minutes - ran perfectly.
Ramped up to full throttle for a few minutes & then backed down...
I have a 96' mercury 9.9 2 stroke.
The idle wire (link wire) has fallen out.
I see where one end (front) attaches to the fast idle lever but have no idea where the other end attaches.
Can anyone help?
