In an earlier post I asked how to get of the lower unit to change waterpumps and somone told me to remove the screws on the shift rod and I see them but the problem is the unit won't drop enough for me to remove the screws. Can anyone help me?
I ran the motor for a few minutes and noticed the waterpump wasn't working and the block was very hot. i've tried to remove the jower unit by removing the four screws right above the prop and it comes off a little but wont go anymore. Anyone know how to remove it?
