I have recently has my local RNLI electrician rewire the dash on my omc 4.3 1992 but we are having lots of problems with the tacho.
Should it be wired through the esa (if it is then it seems to jump around a lot)

I am going to replace my OMC outdrive with a mercruiser using a kit that is commonly available.
Could all you mechanics out there tell me how long this will take. My mechanic has never done it before and is no idea how long. I need a rough idea so as i can budget?
