Hey everyone I have a 2009 90 four stroke outboard and currently trying to wire a tachometer. I spliced into the green wire supposed to be the tach signal for Yamaha in the main harness that goes to the throttle the control box and followed the directions on the tachometer instructions...
i just bought a used 2005 sylvan 18ft aluminum fishing boat with a 2005 Yamaha four stroke motor. when you got on the gas the motor did not sound healthy at all. i could only get it up to 3900 rpms and 34 mph. i think that this motor should be able to got better and reach higher rpms. any ideas...
