Does anyone know what the two holes located either side of the shaft just inside of the lower motor mount is for? Exhaust(right hole) and a very small amount of water and some gunk(left hole) comes out of the holes when the motor is running. Is exhaust supposed to be comming out of the holes...
I have a Mercury 9.9 hp I believe to be a 1987 OB1522251. It will start with the choke on with one pull and will run while as long as your stay on the throttle but it will not idle if I don't pull the choke. Can anyone help me?<br /><br /> Thank You<br /> Steve
