i didn't take it apart but i am putting the motor back together and have a question about the wiring. coming from the cdi box there are two wires that are left to connect, an orange wire and a black wire. the black is ground. does the orange connect to the coil on the stator?

i am trying to determine the year of a motor i believe to be 9.8 hp, model 110. the serial number is 9198435. i am told the serial number is not a canada or us number.
can anyone point me in the right direction?
