    2006 mercury 9.9 oil leak and water in the oil

    I need to replace seal # 853707 12 SEAL, Oil on a 2006 mercury 9.9 4 stroke it is located in the intermediate housing where the driveshaft meets the power head would this seal cause water to get on the oil and Vice versa
