Boat runs great for about 30 minutes . Then if starts missing bad . Sounds like one or more of the plugs isn't firing . Gets worse the longer it runs . If I cut it off and let it cool off it runs good again . Also I smell gas when this is happening . I figure that is the gas not getting burned...
I just installed a new SE106 out drive onto my 83 sting ray .When the boat isn't running it shifts fine . When the boat is running it shifts into forward fine but is almost impossible to get it out of forward and into neutral . Once in neutral it shifts to forward or reverse fine .

My anti cavitation plate has a big chunk broke out right at the trim tab . Its a piece about 6" long . Will this cause a problem ? I have the broken piece but it looks like cast metal and I don't think it can be welded .
