    79 Evinrude 55 overcharging

    Engine is running fine after new coils, starter solenoid. I have a volt meter on my fish finder that reads above 15, 16 volts under high rpm, will display warning of to high of charging volts..Is there a voltage regulator? How do I trouble shoot? Thanks as always in advance. Scott

    Good Morning, Looking to split the control box case to install new ignition swith. Removed bottom cable housing cover and shift lever...What else to split case? Thanks, Scott
