I have a 1967 (6702D C551215) 6 hp evinrude fisherman. I have the gearbox removed and it looks good, I can't get the exhaust housing to drop from the engine base plate. Do I have to remove the powerhead to get access to the shifter as it don't have a disconnect plate?, for the upper andlower...
