I just purchased a 200HP Merc. offshore and was wondering how difficult it is to change the water pump. It has not been in water in 2 years and the last few times were salt water so I want to be cautious. Also my boat does not have a temp gauge so can I add a temp sending unit to this motor...
I just picked up a used 9.9 Gamefisher really cheap. So cheap that if it does not work I will throw it away (just kidding). On the opposite side of the fuel inlet, below the choke it appears there was a switch or something. Anybody know what it was and where I might find one?
