I've got a 17 foot champion bass boat with a 2.0 150 mercury on it. I have a laser 2 23 pitch prop on her. She runs 42 mph at 5800 rpms with two grown men and all tackle in it. When im alone she plains out quickly and gets up to about 48 mph. It uses alot of gas too much i think. My question is...
I have a 84 150 mercury its been rebuilt 125 compression across the board its on 17 foot champion bass boat it takes along time to plane out i have a 23 pitch prop on it any suggestions to this once it gets on plane runs great rpms ar in the 5800 range full throttle.
Ive got a mercury 150 outboard has been rebuilt 125 compression across the board,has all new stator trigger switch boxes,rebuilt fuel pump,it has a 23 pitch prop and its on a 17 foot champion bass boat the problem im having is it takes a long time to plane out.sometimes if i wot it will bog down...
