Hey all, just finished putting 1974 Sizzler back together for the season. Does this motor need the throttle butterflies held open a hair to idle? If not do I have plugged idle jets? If I rich en up idle screws and leave throttle closed motor runs rich bogs down and quits. I've got the motor...
Recently I acquired a 1974 Evinrude Sizzler from a barn where it sat for the last 15 years. I ran it on the Fox River and found out it overheats.
All tests I did are preformed in a test tank.
The motor has no tell tale.
