    Can you just have the siren circuit disengaged when the starter is going? Have a simple always closed solenoid that opens when the starer is energized? SHSU

    If you splashwell is separating all the time, I would check your transom to make sure it is still good. Something is twisting during use that is causing the stress/separation to occur. SHSU

    How is the splashwell holding up when you step on it? I remember when I had the old one it never felt very secure. Might have been just the bad rivets and rotten transom, but seemed to flex a lot under my weight. SHSU

    Stock Windshield Height?

    Not the same boat, but my SS16 has a windshield height of 17 inches from top to console and 42 from deck to top of windshield. An extra 12 inches would probably let me actually sit behind a windshield vs looking over the top.... SHSU

    Yep, waiting till mine die out before swapping to one 12 and one 24 volt LifePo4 so I can run the house and one for trolling. Will keep a lead acid for starting. SHSU

    I mounted my two house batteries up front. I think the ride is better and helps offset all the weight I have sitting in the back SHSU

    I redid all my rivets and 5200 everyone. I still went back over it with Gluvit. Prep is key as in any job. Wire wheel, then degrease before putting on Gluvit. SHSU
