Hey -
I had my 1980 Merc 350 (260) run low on oil until it knocked for about 30 seconds. I added oil once I heard the sound. The oil helped quiet the knock but did not solve it completely.
The motor starts and will sound normal under 1500 RMP but then knocks.
Tomorrow morning I will check...
Is there any information posted or known about member traits?

My engine will no longer idle below 1000 RPM.
On the 4th of July the motor Hydrolocked. (Water entered the cylinders thru the exhaust) I was able to remove the plugs and turn the water out...
Does anyone know where I could buy just the caps/plugs for fat sacs. I have lost a few. And a search of the web shows a lot of parts but mostly quick connects.
I have a few different sacs but the caps are all interchangeable.
