I’ve seen it on here before somewhere, but can’t seem to find it with a search. Does anyone know the part number for he new rubber style carb float for this engine? Really don’t want another cork one.
Thanks
Everything I’ve seen about the shift rod bushing removal leans to tapping it with a 5/16 bolt to remove it. Can you re-use it after it’s been tapped or do I need to get another one? Seems like I’d need a new one, but I haven’t heard either way.
Resealing my lower unit and need some advice on how to reassemble the pinion bearing in the lower gear case. It’s the one where all the rollers fall out. Can someone tell me a trick, I’m about to hurt something.
Does anyone know where I can obtain the Factory Service manual for my 59 Evinrude 35hp, model 35516? I've got a Seloc, but it doesn't go into enough detail for me. Is there a version floating around somewhere, or somewhere I can pick one up?
I rebuilt my carb this past spring and have been living with loose carb needles ever since. Can I buy and install the packing washers without removing the carb again? Does anyone know how many should be in each needle (high and low speed)?
Thanks for the help! Been a great summer.

Any place to buy...

Looking for a rebuild kit for my 59 Evinrude 35hp (35516). Iboats lists 2 for a 1959 35hp. Can someone help me out and tell me what the difference is?

New guy here, looking for a manual to get my old 59 Evinrude Lark running. I've seen some people talk about not getting certain manuals because others are better. Which one is the best that I can get for working on this old thing? Thanks!
I'm in the process of reviving a 59 Evinrude 35hp (35516). The motor has been sitting for quite some time, so I read the "awake a sleeping outboard" thread to get going. Here's what I've done:
* Let the engine sit for 24hrs with a little bit of 2 stroke oil in the cylinder head, while...
