Is there anyone out there that can help me source a suitable crankshaft to replace my 1974 Johnson 70 HP with a damaged centre big end journal? I've seen one on Ebay for a 1984 70 HP evinrude with a 4 spline drive the same as mine, but would it fit?
Alternatively, can a damaged big end...
I've a 1974 70 HP Johnson and the middle pot has had some detonation damage to the top of the piston and cylinder head. The bore is also scored but would probably clean up on first or second oversize. The center crank pin is also damaged.
