My Mariner 9 has never missed a beat, until last weekend, ran for 15 mintues, then would not start.
Spark OK
Fuel in filter and plenty of pressure at bulb
Cleaned carb, fuel lines and tank
Tried new plugs
Got it to fire by manipulating the timing retard arm connected to choke after inserting...
