    The cable was shifting fine. I did the impeller, all the bellows, water and oil lines. I did the shift cable because I was there. I guess I'll pull the drive and see what I did. Have done this job 5 or 6 times and never encountered this problem. Thanks for your help Ken

    Hey Guys and Gals: I got a 1996 Mercruiser 4.3 Alph1 Gen 2 in the shop. Put a new shift cable in as per shop manual. Goes in to reverse nice. Coming out of reverse it stalls. Restart, move shift lever to forward, it stalls. Kinda stumped. Adjusted three times, same result. Some help would be...
