Currently surveying a used boat that comes with a 1998 Honda BF90 (carborated). Apparently had some dirty fuel issues; previous owner let ethynol based fuel sit in the tank which gummed things up. Took the boat for a run; prior to taking the run, the tank was pumped out and the motor...
Ready to pull the trigger on purchasing a used boat. Boat comes with a 1998 Honda 4 Stroke (not fuel injected). Compression test came back with the following; #1 = 190, #2 thru #4 = 200.
Is there reason for concern? I know 10% variance is typcially accepted but I don't want to buy a problem...
