I need a new recoil spring for my 50hp mercury. Is it better to buy just a new spring or the whole unit? How much should the whole unit cost. I have seen them at a lot of different prices.
I recently rebuilt the carbs on my 50 hp mercury thunderbolt. Now my pull cord won't retract. Is there an easy fix for this, or am I going to have to take the whole thing apart?
