I have a 1970 40 hp Mariner and can not get the forward and reverse gears synchronised with motor. I can not find a repair manual anywhere. I did find a manual for 1976 to 1989 but shows nothing on how to get the gears right unless I'm missing something. I need some help please.
I am needing ignition coils for my 40 hp mariner with id# as 676B 404471. I was told it is a 1979 model. Along with future parts as needed. Can any advise me.
I have a Mariner 40 hp 2 cylinder, the tag number shows 676B404471 as far as I can tell. I am guessing it is a 1967. I need to get electrical parts so I can go fishing.
