i have a 1978 inline 6 cyl. 115 hp. 1150 mercury outboard ,and iam having a problem with the switch wire. iam not getting any fire from the battery to the switch. what i would like to know is could i run a new wire from switch to the battery or would it ruin something...
i just replaced my old s/b for a new cdi. a mech. told me i needed a new one because i had no spark. well i still dont have any spark . could i have did something wrong ? or was i told to replace the wrong part?
