I keep seeing the topic to bleed the air out of the upper vent plug on an alpha one when refilling.My alpha one only seems to have the oil pipe that is connected to the oil rservoir. I assume then that you remove this to vent the sysytem as I cannot see any other upper plug.
Have just renewed my raw water pump,plus water pocket in upper housing.Upper gear housing was left on.Now cannot re-fit lower housing to upper as gear shaft splines or something else is not engaging.Lower gear shift is in fwd,prop is locked, etc but no go.Tried turning prop etc.<br />Please help.
Are there more than 6 bolts holding the power pack onto the leg casing.I have removed the underneath 6 bolts screwed into the power pack but it wont budge off the drive unit, Any help appreciated.<br />Thanks
