I have a rebuilt 1993 90 horse outboard mercury motor it is carburated last season when I was on it full throttle a loud consistant alarm would sound, I would either have to stop and let it idle or fearing there was sea weed on the motor stop let it idle a couple of secs then thru it in reverse...
