Thinking of dumping my 4 stroke 60 hp Mariner for new etec.<br /><br />Will be running in warm tropical waters (10 deg S.) 3-5 hrs per week<br /><br />Anybody got for's and against's.
2002 Carburetted 4 cycle 60hp. OT439784 (AUS).<br />At about 600 hours running time, warning buzzer sounded. Reduced to low revs, 10 minute run to dock.<br />Water OK. Oil little bit down, topped up.<br />Normal running for about 4-5 hours. No more buzzer.<br />But starts to sound like clattery...
