steering wheel doesn't move outboard. has cap behind steering wheel. no fluid in it. Where did it go and how i fix and what goes in it. boat is 1995 excel 24' coastal by wellcraft. also like manuals or at least info on boat
87 rankin 23' with 4.3 omc. don't know where dip stick mounts to motor. Have assemble tube and dip stick assemble. couldn't believe i bought boat and no way to check the oil. :eek:
speedometer stopped working.Used to work once i got up to speed. usually when i started to plane. needle would go to 20 but now nothing. Just got the 1998 sea ray open bow.Also been playing with the motor while on plane and saw that if i brought the motor up i went faster till either the...
speedometer would work once i got on plane but not at low speed but now not at all. what could it be. boat is 1998 sea ray openbow and gauge is original equipment.:eek:
running my 1998 mercury 125 hp 2 stroke at low speed when alarm went off. checked oil level-fine, water pump pumping water out motor and water was not hot just warm to touch. temp gauge read little under 130 degrees. brought it home and turn on ignition and alarm still on.:eek:
