    when i removed my thermostat it did not have a spacer in it. can anyone tell me what it's for, and do i have to have it Thanks, Rich

    90 hp 1993 force water problem

    Just got this boat. the first thing i did was to add a tell tale but no water came out. next a new pump, still no water.removed the lower unit and the thermastat cover connected the garden hose to the bottom of the water pipe and turned on the water on. with the motor tilted about half way up...
