I am new to the site and am hoping to get some advice on my '48 Scott Atwater. I picked it up in the fall and it ran great in the barrel at high speed and idle for as long as I wanted. Now I just pulled it out to test before a trip to the lake in a couple weeks, and it fires right up...
I just picked up a 1953 Evinrude 7.5 Fleetwin that fires right up and runs great, but I am not seeing any water coming out the hole in the lower unit. I am assuming that this likely means that I need a new impeller, and I have heard that later model Evinrude impellers can be sanded down to fit...
