Has anyone actually put a voltage regulator on an older, unregulated Johnson outboard to stop overcharging? I'm aware of the maintenence free battery issues, turning on pumps or lights to lower voltage but I would like to do it with a regulator if possible. Must be air cooled, I'm looking for...
