    Mercury 40HP increase HP with ECU?

    I recently bought a pontoon, with a '05 40HP Mercury Big Foot, 4-cyl. with EFI. I have been told that this is the same block used for the 50 and 60HP models, and that the HP can be increased by changing the ECU. Is this possible?
