    i have a 1977 v4 johnson 140 motor

    is there any way to repair the small spring that clamps on your plug with out replaceing the coil??? part of my spring broke off and a small part is still inside the plug cover head... thank you randy

    The plate with model# is on the part that bolts to the boat the clamp, model# 140ML77S serial# J4780302 Is this the numbers that tells you the year model? This boat it's on is a 1986 Phamtom bass boat, thanks....
