I have 1981 25hp that #1 coil will not ground , I have to remove bolt and suspend coil grounding to #2 coil in order for engine to run on 2 cylnders, any ideals. I have replaced coil, plugs, wires.
Coil is jumping spark from coil body to neg. wire on coil, I have switch coils, bolts insulation, and ceramic spacer what am I missing here. Will work fine if I remove bolt and put jumper to other coil and let coil hang.
